Child safety standards
Apex Metric has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These are our published standards.
Our standards
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexualizes, grooms or exploits minors is prohibited, as stated in our community guidelines and terms of use.
- Community features require users to be at least 16. Accounts we believe belong to children under that age are removed.
- Accounts are private by default and there are no direct messages, which limits contact between strangers.
Reporting
Users can report any post or comment in the app (··· › Report). Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and content reported by several users is hidden automatically until reviewed.
Action and cooperation
When we find CSAM or CSAE we remove it, ban the account, preserve the information required by law and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities in the user's country. We cooperate with law enforcement requests.
